Marblehead’s Housing Inventory jumps

After many months when Marblehead’s housing inventory was running sharply below that of a year ago, the position has improved in the last few weeks – at least for buyers. Here are tables showing the month by month totals, and the current inventory by price, for Single Family Homes (SFH):

Throughout Essex County inventory is down 12% year on year (YOY) while in Marblehead it is still down 18%, but it would take only 6 new listings for Marblehead to come into line with the County.

With the recent increase in inventory, there are now options for buyers in all price ranges.
